Kids Church Talk:

* Have you ever been in a place where no-one can annoy you? Where you are at peace.(Discuss)
* Maybe you have a special cubby where this is the case.
* There are always times when we need to be on our own (Discuss)
* EG: If you are being annoyed by your brother or sister, getting away from it all would be very special.
* Jesus was like that too. There were times he had to get away from people. Not because he didn't like them, but they were very demanding of his time (Explain), and he needed peace and quiet so he could talk with his father.
* Do you ever have special times when you are the only one in the room and you can alk to Mum or Dad on your own without anyone interupting? (Discuss)
* There is a special place where people go when they die. Do you know what it is called? Do you know where it is? (Discuss)
* It is a place where there is real peace and it has a beautiful feeling when you are there. Something like when you are in your cubby.
* It is very special because God is there to care for you. Just like a Dad or Mum does here on earth.
* When you have accepted Jesus a special friend, then he makes sure that when you have to leave this world you will be cared for in Heaven.

What you need to get ready:
* Thick coloured card
* Scissors
* Coloured magazines
* Pressed dried flowers or similar    * Glue   * Coloured pencils/Texta's * Hole punch * Ribbon

Kids Church Activity:
* To make a wall hanging. Cut out happy faces from magazines to affix to the card. Also adding fresh pressed flowers or similar. Punch a hole to place a ribbon through. Add words the children can colour in Eg: "If we love Jesus, we will go to heaven"
