Kid's Church talk
*There is no basic talk today
Today the confirmees each give a short speech about why they want to ask Jesus to come into their lives. After which the Bishop will officially confirm them.
Kids Church Activity:
The older children to remain in church for the actual confirmation. The
younger children either colour in some baptism banner designs or make
a mini banner.An alternative would be to have the children make crowns
relative to one of the banner designs attached here.
What you need to get ready:
Various coloured materials to cut up, scissors, craft glue, material for
the actual banner. Sometimes you can get crowns from places like Hungry
Jacks, or McDonalds that could be adapted.

Tips for the "Crown of Life" banner.
• On a light or dark background, use gold metallic
fabric for the crown. Outline with a gold cord.
• The jewels could be made with colored glitter on colored fabric.
Glue the glitter onto a cut-out shape before gluing to the banner itself.
This keeps glitter from getting on everything,
• Use boldly colored felt for the letters.
• Add a finishing touch of gold cord or ribbon around the entire
edge of the banner.
