Today's selected readings: 1 Peter 1: 3-6

Kid's Church talk (Today is an all includive activity)
To get people to come out and tell their story about the significance of their Teddy

After this has been done, continue the security theme.

What does your Teddy do for you? (Discuss)
If he is looking a little overloved (Worn), what can you do to make him look better?
When we were young, often our Teddy was a very important part of our life, and always went to bed with us.
When we were feeling sad, did you hug your Teddy closer? (Discuss)
Our Teddy gives us a sense of security (Discuss)

For a Christian, I guess in some ways Jesus is like this for us. He gives us a sense of security when we feel sad, unloved, teased etc

Like our Teddy today, or in days past, was a great securty for us. Today, Jesus is like that for Christians as well. They feel safe when they show their love towards him.

Give Teddy a bug cuddle. Being secure and safe is very important.

Tonight, pray to Jesus and thank Him for being a security daily for you
