Healing of Jairus's daughter

* Do you know what a miracle is? (Discuss)
* Do you believe that Mum can do miracles? (Discuss)
* Mums seem to be amazing people - They make us well and always know what to do when we are sick. Bandaide treatment (and kiss it better) seems to work miracles everytime.
* In some ways, nurses in our hospitals also do lots of wonderful caring and helping people to get better. They seem to be miracle workers at times in the TLC they give to their patients.
* In many ways they are just like Jesus in the way they show kindness and success.
* In today's story Jesus shows he is a miracle man in healing Jairus' daughter. Jairus was one of the leaders in the Jewish church and was impressed with what Jesus coiuld achieve.
* Jesus was able to heal his daughter because he had faith (Explain) in him.
* When we believe in people (Like our mums, nurses and even Jesus) then wonderful things are possible because we trust them.

What you need to get ready:
* Dolly Pegs
* Texta to make faces etc
* Match boxes or popsicle sticks to make a bed
* Scissors
* Small pieces of clothing for nurses clothing etc White uniform with red cape & white cross
* Glue (Craft Glue the best as dries the fastest)

Kids Church Activity:
* To make nurses & 12 year old out of dolly pegs
* To make a bed for the 12 year to be placed in
