Kid's Church talk
* Do you ever get cross when you can't get your own way? (Discuss)
* Lots of Adults, at times, feel this way as well - Some, sadly, cause others to get hurt because of this.
* In today's story, King Ahab could not get his own way. (Can you remember why? - What did he do?)
* God wants us to make sure we are never selfish or continue to want what other people have.
* We should be happy with what we have.
* Selfish people make God very unhappy.

* Also we should not get even with people just because we don't get what we want.
* The sticker you will be placing on the vineyard you will be making helps to remind you of just that

Kids Church Activity:
Younger ones to cut out grapes, glue them to a styrene cup and place sticker on other side which says "Naboth’s Vineyard".

Older children to create a vineyard on styrene block.

What you need to get ready:
Younger: Styrene cups, Naboth sticker, purple & green paper for the grapes & leaves.

Older: Styrene base, popsicle sticks, thick green and brown wool. Texta to write Naboth’s Vineyard on side of styrene. Slogan hanging from vines saying - God Says "Don’t take revenge on those you don’t get your own way with"
