Kid's Church talk: -
- How many of you have friends?
- How do you recognise a friend - Face, Hair, smile, way they walk etc
- Maybe you recognise a friend because they are always the same - Happy,
smiling, prepared to help you when needed
- In other words, you often recognise a person as a friend when they
get in their and help you.
- In todays special story we heard how Jesus was walking alongside some
of his followers but somehow they did not recognise. There was something
different about his person after the resurrection, than before.(Explain
any difficult words here)
- Can any one tell me how they came to recognise Jesus (Offer a prize)
- It is like that with us. We are recognised as followers of Jesus -
His friends - every time we do a good deed for someone else
- Actions speak louder than words.

could be a cutout with a base to affix to the card. An altar or table
is made by folding card or glueing match boxes together. Bread and wine
bottle made from plasticine. Slogan in front of table to read "People
