Kid's Church talk
* Have you ever experienced a time when no-one ever believed you?
(Discuss)
* How painful was it?
* Can you imagine what it must have been like for Jesus? With
all that he had done for people, and many of them seeing with
their own eyes his miracles, still were not prepared to believe
him.
* Why do you think this might have been? (Jealously for one)
* Jesus would have been very sad about all this. After all he
was only doing things tto help them.
* In fact when he tried to explain that they were deaf to what
he was really saying (In other words only heard what they wanted
to - A bit like children when their parents tell them things),
they started throwing stones at him.
* Sadly they could not get their own way with Jesus, so in spite
threw rocks.
* What do you do when you can't get your own way (Discuss)
* If we want to be like Jesus, we have to listen to the stories
about him each week at church, and try to live lives that Jesus
would be proud of.
