• What is something you just can't live without? (Discuss)
• Now of course many of these things are really not essential. But one of the things none of us could live without and in order would be air, water, food.
• If this is all you had, you could live, but you would be a very unhappy person
• You also need a little fun in your life - So entertainment becomes necessary.
• What are some of the things you enjoy doing (Discuss)
• But even with all this you could still be a very unhappy person. So what else do you think would be essential (Discuss)
• Friends and family are so so important. Without them you would never ever experience love in your life.

"Life without friends is like a garden without flowers"

• Of course we are talking about all the people in the world. These are the things we all need.
• But bring a friend of Jesus (being a Christian) is the icing on the cake.
• That is why we are here this morning. To give thanks to Jesus for the protection he gives us, for those he makes well who are sick, and for our wonderful family and friends he cares for also
• Sharing with Jesus each week shows we are not selfish people, and we get the added benefit of enjoying the company of other special people who attend here each week as well.
• So tonight before you go to bed, don't forget to thank Jesus when you say your prayers and to tell him he is important in your life. But also tell him you are thankful that you have him as a friend.
