• How good are you at sharing? What sort of things do you share?
• You and I live in a very selfish world, and it is not only kids that are very selfish. Many young people and adults as well.
• (Give an example) Caravan parks. Older people will chat and share stories, say hi etc. Many younger adults won't even give the pleasantries
• We are becoming a very selfish society where no-one seems to care about anyone else - only their own needs.
• In today's story, it seems very unfair (Re-cap the story)
• I am sure you know that that seems hard.
• But the owner was fair. He said he would give them a certain wage and he did.
• But as the day progressed, and the grapes would have been ruined if not picked, he had to get others to help out. They got a better deal
• But Jesus was not really talking about grapes. He was talking about forgiveness.
• He is saying to us today. If a person says to you they are truly sorry, then we are expected as Christians (hard as it is) to forgive them and move on with our lives.
• Jesus is prepared to forgive anyone who is truly sorry
• But even though we might feel some people are not really serious about their apology, we can't really tell .
• But Jesus know everything. He is able to look inside out heart and he would know if we were serious.
• A little like when we try and con Mum or Dad. They seem to always know when we are not telling the truth.
• Jesus says - When you tell me you are sorry for what ever you have done, I will always FORGIVE you because I love you.
